23-year-old Jalandhar model raped in Shimla on pretext of shooting
Shimla: A woman model from Punjab was allegedly raped by a man in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The victim, who hails from Jalandhar, has lodged an FIR at the New Shimla Women’s Police Station. She has accused Jagtar Singh Sandhu of Ludhiana of forcibly having physical relations.
The police have registered a case under sections of rape and further investigation is underway.
In her complaint to the police, the victim said that she had come to Shimla for a shoot on December 22 and stayed at a hotel in Shimla for the night. During this, Jagtar Singh forcibly had physical relations with her. The 23-year-old victim model filed a complaint at the New Shimla Women’s Police Station on Wednesday.
