7-year-old girl raped by neighbourer in Ludhiana
A 7-year-old girl has been raped in Ludhiana, Punjab by neighbourer. The young man took the girl from the house to a deserted place on the pretext of getting food from the shop and after that raped her. When the mother went out to search for her, she found the girl crying at a secluded place away from the house. The clothes she was wearing were stained with blood. The police have booked a youth under Section 376-E, 6 POSCO Act. The accused is already facing a case of misdemeanor.
The girl’s family said in a complaint to the police that a young man named Prabhjot has been living in a house next to their house for about 2 months. During this, a seven-year-old girl also got mixed with him. Prabhjot took the girl from home saying that he would get food from the shop. He took the girl to a secluded place and raped her. After this, he left the girl there and fled. Police said that accused will be arrested soon.
