8-year-old girl raped in Patiala

Chandigarh: A minor girl was allegedly molested by a youth, who was playing in a government school park in Banur, Patiala.

The 8-year-old girl was molested by a 20-year-old man named Sandeep Singh, who lives in the village. The accused then fled from the spot.

At present, the police have registered an FIR against the accused after taking the statement of the girl’s family in this case. The POCSO Act has also been invoked in the case.
