Akali leader Tejbir Singh arrested with 110 gm heroin in Amritsar, AAP attacks Bikram Majithia

Amritsar News: Akali leader and Amritsar district head of Students Organisation of India (SOI) has been arrested by counter intelligence in Amritsar, Punjab. Police have also seized 110 grams of heroin from the accused. At present, the police is interrogating the accused. The accused was produced in court and remanded to two-day police custody.
      Amandeep Singh, in-charge of Counter Intelligence Amritsar, informed that Tejbir Singh has been arrested on his behalf in the case registered on July 20. In this case, 100 grams of heroin, a car and Rs 3 lakh drug money have been seized.
     Following the arrest, Aam Aadmi Party has launched a fierce attack on Akali Dal and Bikram Majithia.
    AAP spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said described the accused’s close links with the entire Akali Dal leadership, from former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to Bikram Singh Majithia. He said that Majithia patronised these drug peddlers and arrested Akali leader was a close aide of Majithia.
