Man shot dead in Amritsar in an old rivalry

Chandigarh: A man was shot dead in broad daylight near Hakima Gate, a crowded area in Amritsar due to the old rivalry.

The place of murder is just 100 meters away from the Gate Hakim post, after which CCTVs of the police station are also being scanned.

The deceased Yashpal was walking in front of the school located at Hakima Gate when some youths on Thursday late evening shot him dead. Due to darkness in the area, no one saw the accused.

Police are investigating the case to trace the accused.
