No denying terror angle in Amritsar bomb blast: DGP Gaurav Yadav

Chandigarh: DGP Gaurav Yadava, while speaking about the two blasts in Amritsar recently, said that no terrorist angle has been ruled out in this blast. Talking to reporters at the Ludhiana bus stand, the DGP said the Punjab Police was fully prepared and no one would be allowed to disturb the situation in the state.

     The DGP said some miscreants could be behind the bomb blasts in Amritsar and the terror angle could not be ruled out. He said a low-intensity explosive was used for the bomb in Amritsar, which was prepared with the help of a box and pulled with a rope. There was nothing sharp in it.
     He said that special operations are being conducted by the Punjab Police across the state. Under this, checking of railway stations, bus stands, markets and other common people is being done under a multi-level checking campaign.
