Punjab Roadways driver brutally murdered in Tarn Taran

A case of murder of a man was reported late last night on the road from village Jamrai to Kot Mohammad Khan of Police Station Goindwal Sahib under Tarn Taran district. The deceased has been identified as Gurmeet Singh, 30, a resident of Gharka village.
     Giving details, according to the family members of the deceased, the deceased was working as a temporary driver at Punjab Roadways Tarn Taran and was on his way to his village Gharka late in the evening on a motorcycle PB 10 HG 6228 from Tarn Taran as usual when he was killed by unidentified persons with a sharp weapon near the Gurdwara of Baba Bhandari Ji on Jamrai road from Kot Mohammad.
      DSP Sub-Division Goindwal Ravisher Singh and Police Station Goindwal In-charge Paramjit Singh Virdi, who reached the spot and started investigation.
