Three Indian-origin men jailed to 10-year for kidnapping woman in UK
Three Indian-origin men have been jailed for 10 years each for forcing a woman to get into their car in the British city of Leicester last year.
Ajay Doppalapudi (27), Vahar Manchala (24) and Rana Yelength (30) were sentenced by Leicester Crown Court. They were convicted of kidnapping the woman.
On January 16 last year, the victim sat in an Audi and the woman thought it was a taxi, but when the car started moving towards the Opare area instead of the said location, she realised something was fishy. She was then taken to a secluded place 15 miles away. After some time the victim managed to escape. The police later identified the accused during investigation and arrested them.
