China includes Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin in new map

New Delhi: China has released the 2023 edition of the country’s standard map, which may increase its diplomatic bitterness with India, as in the map it has shown the entire Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as its territory.
Reports said the map was released by China’s Ministry of Natural Resources. The latest development comes four months after Beijing announced in April that it would correct the names of 11 locations in Arunachal Pradesh.
Also, the release of the map comes at a time when New Delhi is less than a fortnight away from the G-20 summit, which is also expected to be attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The G-20 summit is scheduled to be held from September 9 to 10. India has always asserted that Arunachal Pradesh has always been and will always be of the country.
