Indian dancer Amarnath Ghosh shot dead in US

Missouri (USA): The Indian Consulate in Chicago has condoled the death of Indian dancer Amarnath Ghosh, who was shot dead allegedly by an unidentified assailant in St. Louis, United States.

The Indian mission said in a statement today that it is pursuing the case with forensics, investigation and police. Ghosh was a resident of Kolkata and both his parents have died.

Ghosh was attacked several times by an unidentified assailant when he was on an evening walk in the St. Louis Academy neighbourhood. He was the only boy in the family. His mother died three years ago. His father died in his childhood.
