UK: Doctors to go on four-day strike in August

Punjab E News: Thousands of doctors at the UK-run National Health Service will go on a four-day strike in August as the government shows little sign of a solution to their wage issues. This information was given by the doctors’ union today. During the five-day strike, doctors will perform in England from August 11 to 15 at the start of their careers.
Co-chair of the British Medical Association’s Committee of Junior Doctors Dr Robert Laurenson said, “The issue should never reach a level where we need to announce the fifth round of strike. “There is no need to go ahead with these strikes if a credible proposal is received,” he said.
