UAE’s first Hindu temple built for Rs 700 crore inaugurated by PM Modi today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a two-day tour. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the UAE’s first Hindu temple.

The BAPS temple is built on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway. About 700 crore rupees have been spent in the construction of this temple. About 18 lakh bricks have been used in the construction of the temple.

To further enhance the grandeur of the temple, marble has been used in it.This temple has seven pinnacles representing the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Camels have been carved and the eagle, the UAE’s national bird, has also been engraved.

The consecration of the idols in the temple began on Wednesday morning. Prime Minister Modi will attend the inauguration ceremony of the grand temple in the evening.
