Goods train ran without driver: Railways suspends 6 people, including station master

New Delhi: DRM Ferozepur Sanjay Sahu on Monday said that six employees have been suspended due to Sunday’s goods train incident.

The suspended personnel include station master of Kathua, traffic master and point man, loco pilot, assistant loco pilot and loco inspector. At Kathua railway station, the goods train suddenly started running without a driver and it travelled about 70 kilometers and stopped at the high bus of Mukerian.
