Chandigarh News: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has quashed an FIR lodged against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj and Sant Kabir Ji. Due to lack of facts, the High Court has taken this decision.
The case was registered on March 17 this year at Patra police station in Jalandhar. Section 295-A was added in the case for hurting religious sentiments. After this, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh filed a petition in the High Court and appealed to cancel the FIR lodged against him for a satsang.
