In Kullu, 10 buildings collapsed due to massive landslides
Himachal Pradesh: At least 10 under-construction commercial buildings collapsed in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district today due to a landslide, officials said.
No casualty has been reported so far in the incident that took place near the bus stand in Anni Bazar area of the district. The district administration had recently vacated the buildings by declaring them ‘unsafe’.
Scary visuals of the devastation have gone viral on social media.
Geologists have warned that the balance of slopes has been disturbed due to large-scale construction in Himachal Pradesh, especially in tourist places like Shimla, Dharamshala and Manali.
