Major train accident averted in Bihar

New Delhi: A major rail accident was averted in Bihar’s Bettiah on Thursday. The Satyagraha Express left a few coaches derailed near Majhaulia station on the Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj section and moved ahead with the engine.

In such a situation, the train was in two parts. This caused chaos among the passengers on the train.
As soon as the incident was reported, railway officials reached the spot and investigated the matter. After adding the engine in Bettiah, the train was sent forward.
It is being told that a new coach was added to the Satyagraha Express on Wednesday. On Thursday, the train reached around Majhaulia from Raxaul, after which the incident took place. The train left a few bogies and went some distance away. As soon as the coach stopped after separation, all the passengers got down. A huge crowd of people gathered on the spot. This information was given to the railway officials in a hurry. They reached the spot. After this, the matter was investigated.
