SC extends ED director Sanjay Mishra’s tenure till September 15
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday heard the Centre’s demand to extend the tenure of Enforcement Directorate (ED) Director Sanjay Kumar Mishra till October 15. After this, the court has extended Mishra’s tenure till September 15. The country’s interest was cited behind this.
During the hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that we have informed all the petitioners. We know that you have instructed to remove them, but the circumstances are extraordinary. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) visit is in November.
