Canada should stop attacks on religious places and abuse of freedom of expression: India

New Delhi: India has asked Canada to effectively stop attacks on places of worship and hate speech. The resolutions in this regard were tabled during a review meeting of the UN Human Rights Council, where diplomats from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka shared their views. 
      Indian diplomat Mohammad Hussain told the council meeting that India wants Canada to stop attacks on religious places on its soil and take strong steps against the alleged abuse of freedom of expression there.
