Punjab News: Two immigration consultants were arrested by the Chandigarh Police for allegedly duping a Bathinda resident of Rs 7.43 lakh.
According to the police, they have received about 17 complaints of fraud against accused, totalling a cheat of Rs 57 lakh.
Police said that according to the complainant Gurcharan Singh, accused Ravinder Singh, alias Ravi Saab, Manpreet Singh Brar, Pushpinder Kaur, Jyoti Mehra and others of BB Council, Sector 17, had cheated him of Rs 7.43 lakh for giving him study visa of Canada.
