Top Naxal leader among 29 killed in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker

New Delhi: A fierce encounter between security forces and Naxalites has been reported in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh.

According to information received about the incident, 29 Maoists have been killed in this incident. A huge cache of weapons have also been recovered in the encounter.

A search operation is being run by the security forces in the entire area. Three soldiers were also injured in the encounter.

The incident took place in the Hapatola forest between Binagunda and Coronar under the police station Chhotebetia area of Kanker in Chhattisgarh.
