AAP organises oath taking ceremony for block presidents and district in-charges in Mullanpur
Ludhiana News: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab organised a huge oath taking ceremony for the new block presidents and district in-charges in Mullanpur Dakha, Ludhiana on Friday.
AAP Punjab President and chief minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP Punjab working president MLA Principal Budh Ram, AAP national general secretary Sandeep Pathak, AAP Punjab incharge Jarnail Singh, Cabinet ministers Harpal Singh Cheema, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Harbhajan Singh ETO, Bram Shanker Jimpa, Aman Arora, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Lalchand Kataruchakk, Dr Baljit Kaur, Harjot Bains, AAP MLAs, chairmen and volunteers were present in the oath taking ceremony of new office bearers of the party.
AAP Punjab working president Principal Budh Ram officiated the oath and encouraged leaders and volunteers to work hard and strengthen the organisation. He said that new block presidents and district in-charges are appointed as per the directions of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. All the new office bearers are honest and hard working people of common background who wants to work for the betterment of Punjab.
Addressing the gathering AAP Punjab in-charge MLA Jarnail Singh said that Punjab’s party team worked very hard and made 2022 assembly elections historic victory possible. Similarly, the party will perform exceptionally well in upcoming local body elections and we will register victory in more than 90% of wards.
Addressing the party workers and volunteers, AAP national general secretary Dr Sandeep Pathak said that no success is possible without the support and hard work of volunteers. He added that he has the most hard working and disciplined team of volunteers in the world in the form of AAP Punjab unit who not only made Bhagwant Mann Chief Minister with historic mandate but also working hard to take policies of the Aam Aadmi Party to other states as well. He said that block presidents are the most important people in the party organisation and they must work with dedication and honesty.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, on this occasion, said that the Aam Aadmi Party is a family. Punjab is my family. We worked hard to bring political change in Punjab now we have to work even harder to free our country of corruption and unemployment.
He encouraged volunteers that they have to take politics of Arvind Kejriwal to every corner of our country and strengthen the party units in every state. He said that since the formation of AAP in 2012 we had ups and downs and many people who joined party with hidden and personal interests have left us but we are standing strong because we are working for Punjab and our people.
Mann said that some people think that they are bigger than the party but the party gave us a platform that made people of common background ministers, MLAs and chairmen. He added that God gives responsibilities to capable people and we have responsibility towards our country and our people and we must fulfill it with complete honesty.
