DC and CP greet people on birth anniversary of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji

Jalandhar News: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal and Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Chahal on Friday greeted the people on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Valmiki ji and exhorted them to follow the teachings of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji in their lives.

      After paying obeisance in Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir in Local Ali Mohalla, Sarangal and Chahal said that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji wrote the immortal “Ramayana”, the great epic which has been teaching humanity the true and ethical way of living for centuries.

      They said that great epic had been a lighthouse of the ethical and moral living for the people which were far more relevant in the society. They said that teachings of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji inspired the people to fight for social justice.

     Later, they also participated in Shobha Yatra and appreciated the organizers for holding this mega event every year to perpetuate the glorious legacy of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji besides showcasing the teachings, life and philosophy of Bhagwaan Valmiki Ji. The organizers also honoured them during Shobha Yatra.
