Punjab E News (PEN News):  Congress leaders today paid glowing tributes to late Sidhu Moosewala, an internationally acclaimed Punjabi singer who was shot dead by gangsters four and a half years ago.
Right from the general secretary in charge Bhupesh Baghel to the PCC president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring to his father Balkaur Singh, everyone said they missed Moosewala today, who was not only a gifted singer, but had the power to inspire and mobilise the youth.
The leaders blamed the Aam Aadmi Party government for not only withdrawing his security despite highest levels of threats, but also publicized that his security had been downgraded. They said, Moosewala has not got justice even till today.
Speaking on the occasion Bhupesh Baghel said, the AAP government had handed over Punjab to the gangsters who had killed so many innocent people including the great youth icon Sidhu Moosewala.
Exhorting people to throw out the AAP government, he said, for getting justice to Moosewala it was important to defeat this government which was responsible for his death.
PCC president Raja Warring recalled his close bonding with Moosewala, saying he was his younger brother and he has always been missing him. He promised that the late singer will get justice once the AAP is defeated and the Congress forms government in the state.
He said the AAP government had completely destroyed Punjab in terms of law and order, economy, agriculture, education and employment. He also referred to the brutal abuse of police force by the AAP government against all sections of the soecity be they the farmers, safai karamcharis, MGNREGA workers, linemen or the teachers.
