1984 anti-Sikh riots: Tytler moves court seeking anticipatory bail
New Delhi: Congress leader Jagdish Tytler today filed an anticipatory bail plea in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case in a court here. The court has issued a notice to the CBI on this. The court had last week issued summons to Congress leader Jagdish Tytler.
Taking cognisance of the charge sheet filed against Tytler, the court issued summons to Jagdish Tytler on behalf of the Central Bureau of Investigation and directed him to appear before it on August 5. The Central Bureau of Investigation had filed a charge sheet against Congress leader Jagdish on May 20.
