After Jalandhar MP Rinku’s personal intervention, Adampur to resume flights on March 2

Jalandhar: After the intervention of Jalandhar MP Sushil Kumar Rinku, the Adampur Civil Airport to commence flights from the airport to Hindon from March 2. Star Air, a private airline, is now awaiting the commencement of ticket bookings. On Saturday, officials from the Airport Authority of India were busy preparing for the flight operations.

They have also been in contact with Union Minister of State Som Parkash and MP Sushil Kumar Rinku. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to virtually inaugurate the Adampur-Hindon sector flight on March 2.

MP Sushil Kumar Rinku has confirmed that flights on the Adampur-Hindon sector will commence from March 2 and mentioned that Airport Authority officials have discussed the details of the inaugural flight ceremony with him.

The MP said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate flights on multiple sectors simultaneously, and he is currently coordinating with the ministry to gather all necessary information about the inaugural flight.
