Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak donates one month’s salary for people affected by floods

Hands over cheque of Rs.1,10 000 to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann

Chandigarh: Standing in complete solidarity with the people affected by the floods in the State, the Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Preservation Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak today donated his one month salary totalling Rs. 1,10,000 for their assistance.

Handing over the cheque to the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today, the Cabinet Minister said that the State Government under the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister is fully committed and duty bound to help the flood ravaged people in every way possible. He further said that the respective District Administrations throughout Punjab, are actively engaged in providing every kind of assistance to the people in the form of food packets, medicines, drinking water, tarpaulins and other necessary items. The Chief Minister fully understands the pain of the affected people and is sparing no effort to get their lives back on track, added the Minister.
