Despite CM Mann’s threat and ESMA, employees adamant: Ministerial staff union gives ultimatum till  Aug 10 to accept demands, strike from 11

Punjab E News: After the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has warned the government against the implementation of the ESMA Act in the state, the employees have  now given ultimatum to the government for their demands to be met before September 10, failing to this, the strike will be began from DC offices to tehsils across the state from August 11. 
     Punjab Ministerial Staff Union leaders said they were firm on their decision. 
     The meeting was held under the chairmanship of state president Tejinder Singh Nangal, general secretary Narendra Cheema and secretary Karvinder Cheema. DC, SDM and office bearers of tehsil office unions also attended the meeting. Everyone has decided that if the demands are not considered by September 10, then on September 11, all will hand over their pens to CM Bhagwant Mann to observe a pen down strike.
