Disgruntled over not getting ticket, Vijay Sampla removes ‘Modi Ka Parivaar’ from his social media handles

Chandigarh: Former BJP MP and ex-Union Minister Vijay Sampla may have parted ways with the BJP after being denied a ticket from the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat. Sampla indicated his departure from the BJP through a post on the social media website X (formerly Twitter).

In his post, Sampla wrote, “One path may be closed, but God opens many paths. Surely, God must have set a path for me too. Thank you very much to all the colleagues who supported me.” Additionally, he subtly conveyed his sentiments by removing the term “Modi’s family” from his name on his social media account.

Meanwhile, discussions about his potential move to the Congress are also underway, although Sampla and his colleagues are refraining from commenting on the matter at this time.

According to sources, if Sampla leaves the BJP and joins the Congress, he could be nominated as a Lok Sabha candidate from Hoshiarpur.
