Disproportionate assets case: Ex-CM Channi seeks week’s extension from Vigilance

Chandigarh: Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has sought a week’s extension from the Vigilance to appear before it. Channi was summoned by the Vigilance Bureau to vigilance bhawan Mohali to join the investigation in the disproportionate assets case. Channi had earlier joined the vigilance probe. They were questioned by the Vigilance for about seven hours.
