Hidden camera installed at girls PG in Chandigarh, roommate her boyfriend arrested
In Chandigarh, a hidden camera was found installed in the bathroom of a PG, allegedly used to create inappropriate videos of female residents. Disguised atop the geyser, the camera was discovered when one of the girls noticed it and reported it to the PG owner. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged with the police.
The police have arrested a girl and her boyfriend who were residing there. The girl mentioned that her boyfriend had given her the camera to install three days prior.
The accused girl had come to Chandigarh from Uttar Pradesh to prepare for the IELTS exam. Authorities have registered a case against the two accused individuals under sections 354C, 509, and 66 of the IPC, as well as the IT Act.
