Kotkapura firing case: Sukhbir Badal gets permission to attend daughter’s graduation ceremony in abroad

Punjab E News: The hearing in the Kotkapura firing case related to the Bargari sacrilege of Faridkot in Punjab is scheduled to be held today in the Faridkot court. However, Sukhbir Singh Badal, an accused in the case, had sought 10 days permission from the court to go abroad, which was opposed by the SIT.
Despite this, the JMIC court has given conditional 10 days permission to Badal in the Kotkapura firing case.

A 2400-page supplementary challan was presented in the case
2 FIRs have been registered in the Kotkapura firing case. The SIT, headed by ADGP L K Yadav and SSP Bathinda Gulneet Singh Khurana, has submitted a 2,400-page supplementary challan a day before the death of former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal. Earlier, on February 24, 2022, a 7,000-page charge sheet was filed in the Faridkot court.
