On duty Punjab government officials forced to burn stubble by farmers in Bathinda; CM Mann expresses grief

Bathinda News: In Bathinda, farmers surrounded a government official who had come to prevent them from burning crop residue. The farmers first set the crop on fire and then left the scene.
They recorded a video of the entire incident and made it go viral. Subsequently, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed sorrow over the situation.
CM Mann tweeted and said, “Dear Punjabi, which path did you choose? A government employee had gone with a message not to burn crop residue, but it was set on fire. Guru Sahib granted air the status of Guru. This marks the beginning of the depletion of oxygen. FIR will be registered. “
