Punjab govt regularises jobs of 100 teachers after 14 years

Punjab News: In a move in favour of the employees, the Punjab government has regularised the services of around 100 teachers who have obtained higher qualifications from recognised universities outside the state. 
Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains shared details about the decision taken by the government. 
    Education Minister Harjot Bains said that at the time of recruitment of 7654 and 3442 in 2009 and 2011, some teachers had obtained higher qualifications from recognized universities of other states through distance mode, due to which the services of these teachers were not regularized for 14 years.
