In a shocking incident, body of a Punjab Police DSP has been recovered from Basti Bawa Khel canal in Jalandhar on Monday morning under mysterious circumstances.
According to the information, deceased DSP Dalbir Singh Deol, an Arjuna awardee, had gone with his friends and did not return home. Later, his body has been found in the canal by passerby in the morning, police said adding that body has been sent to civil hospital for postmortem and further investigation is underway.
