SYL issue: CM Mann stringing attack on opposition, says Sunil Jakhar, Sukhbir Badal and Warring should be ashamed
Jalandhar News: The politics over the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal has heated up again. Yesterday, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) held a protest outside CM Bhagwant Mann’s house by placing a chair outside his house accepting the challenge for debate, alleging that he had fled to Madhya Pradesh out of fear. But on Wednesday morning, the Chief Minister responded to the opponents.
In a tweet, he targeted Congress, BJP and Akali Dal leaders. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said in his tweet that Sunil Jakhar, Sukhbir Badal, Raja Warring… and said that do you have a little shame left, In the photo, Balram Jakhar is also standing with Captain Amarinder Singh during the SYL canal while then Haryana Chief Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal had praised the then Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for allowing the SYL canal survey. The Chief Minister has challenged Sukhbir Badal to bring the hotel Oberia in Gurugram’s documents with him. “Don’t worry I am determined to protect the water of Punjab,” CM said while lashing out at opposition leaders for misleading people of Punjab for years.
