‘The Sikh Group’ releases list of 100 influential Sikhs

The list includes name of CM Bhagwant Mann, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh among others

Punjab E News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami have been named among the 100 most influential Sikhs in the world in the latest edition of the ‘The Sikhs 100’ list released by uk-based Sikh organization ‘The Sikh Group’. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami is ranked third among the 100 globally influential Sikhs in 2022 and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann at the fourth spot in the list released by the organisation for the year 2022.

    Jathedar of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib Giani Kulwant Singh is at number one in this list. He is followed by Giani Harpreet Singh, acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht. Navdeep Singh, founder of The Sikh Group from London, said the current list has selected 100 influential Sikh personalities from across the world out of 26 million Sikhs. 
    Other Sikhs who made it to the list include former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The names of union minister Hardeep Puri, former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Canadian defence minister and MP Harjit Singh Sajjan, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Harmeet Singh Kalka, Khalsa Aid leader Ravi Singh, Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, among others, have been named.
