Transport tender scam: ED seizes gold worth Rs 2.12 crore, assets worth Rs 8.6 crore recovered so far

Ludhiana News: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken major action in the transport tender scam. The ED carried out searches at the bank lockers of the accused and their associates in Ludhiana. 
        The agency has recovered about four kilograms of gold bricks and jewellery. Their price is about Rs 2.12 crore. A total amount of over Rs 8.6 crore has been seized and frozen in the case so far. The ED took the action on September 4 under the provisions of the PMLA-2002.
