Punjab BJP’s cultural cell convener and actor Hobby Dhaliwal said that Diljit is not only an actor but also a proud face of India and Punjabi culture.
“In this tense time, attempts are being made to tarnish his personality by levelling false allegations against him,” Dhaliwal said.
He added that the film in question was shot much before the Pahalgam attack, during a period when joint cultural programmes were being held between the two countries.
