Chandigarh: The proceedings on the second day of the monsoon session of the Haryana Assembly began on Tuesday with protests by the Congress. Led by state president Uday Bhan and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Haryana Congress leaders staged a demonstration outside the Vidhan Sabha before the session began.
Party workers and leaders raised slogans of “vote chor, gaddi chhod” during the protest. Later, when the Congress MLAs entered the Assembly, they continued raising slogans inside the House as well.
