Mumbai: Bollywood actress and global icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finally made her much-awaited appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, turning heads with a stunning red carpet look.
As she arrived at the prestigious event, Aishwarya captivated attention in an eye-catching blue gown designed by Indian fashion designer Amit Aggarwal. Representing [L’Oréal Paris](https://www.lorealparis.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com) as its global brand ambassador since 2003, the actress welcomed photographers with a traditional Indian “Namaste” gesture on the red carpet.
During the appearance, Aishwarya was also seen posing alongside Hollywood actress Eva Longoria, who is also associated with the beauty brand.
Both actresses attended the screening of The Birthday Party, starring Monica Bellucci and competing for the prestigious Palme d’Or award.
Aishwarya’s specially curated outfit, titled “Luminara”, was inspired by the concept of “light in motion”. The ensemble symbolised energy, dynamism and strength, brought to life through engineered craftsmanship and intricate detailing.
She completed the glamorous look with a shimmering dupatta, softly curled hair, pink-toned makeup, bold red lipstick and diamond jewellery studded with blue stones, adding further elegance to her Cannes appearance.
