Jalandhar MC holds first camp to regularize water, sewerage connections in unauthorized colonies

Jalandhar: Municipal Corporation organized its first camp for the regularization of water and sewerage connections in unauthorized colonies. The camp was held at Taran Enclave, Zone No. 5A, Rama Mandi, Central constituency.

The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Mayor Vaneet Dhir and the directions of Commissioner Sandeep Rishi, IAS, and Joint Commissioner Sumandeep Kaur. The drive was supervised by Estate Officer-cum-Chief Tax Collector Ashwani Gill and Superintendent Water Rate Rakesh Sharma, along with the Water Rate team.

During the camp, 60 water and sewerage connections were regularized, aimed at improving civic facilities in the area.

Mayor Vaneet Dhir said similar camps would be held in other unauthorized colonies to benefit residents and generate additional revenue for the Water Rate Branch.
