New Delhi: The second semi-final of the Women’s ODI World Cup is underway between India and Australia at the DY Patil Stadium. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first.
At the end of the first over, the Australian team had scored 3 runs without losing a wicket, with Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield at the crease.
This marks the third time both teams are facing each other in a World Cup semi-final. Australia had defeated India in Delhi in 1997, while India recorded a memorable victory in Derby in 2017, winning by 36 runs thanks to Harmanpreet Kaur’s unbeaten 171-run knock.
