Special camps being organised at industrial units to ensure easy access to portable gas cylinders for labour families
Jalandhar News (April 8):Â District Food and Civil Supplies Controller Narinder Singh today said that FTL 5 kg LPG cylinders are being provided to migrant workers across Jalandhar district to ensure that they do not face any difficulty in managing their daily cooking needs.
He said that special camps are also being organised at various industrial units to make gas supply easily accessible to workers and their families. As part of this initiative, a camp was organised today at Hemko Group Ltd, where around 20 FTL cylinders were distributed among needy labour families.
DFSC Narinder Singh was present at the camp along with Sham Gupta, Chairman of Hemko Group Ltd.
He said that these camps are aimed at facilitating migrant labourers by providing them portable LPG cylinders so that they can manage their daily routine without any inconvenience.
