ED wraps up Ludhiana raids at AAP minister Sanjeev Arora’s premises, Gurugram search continues

Chandigarh: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has concluded its raids at the Ludhiana residence of Punjab Cabinet minister Sanjeev Arora, while searches at his Gurugram-linked locations are still underway.

ED teams left Arora’s Ludhiana house around 12 pm on Saturday after conducting searches that began early Friday morning. The action spanned nearly two days and covered multiple premises linked to the minister, his son, and business associates Hemant Sood and Chandrashekhar Agrawal.

The raids were carried out simultaneously at 13 locations across Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Gurugram and Chandigarh. These included Arora’s residential properties, company offices, and premises linked to close associates.

While most locations, including those in Ludhiana, have been cleared, ED teams have now shifted focus to offices and properties in Gurugram.

Sources indicate the action is likely linked to an ongoing money laundering investigation. Central security forces deployed outside Arora’s Gurdev Nagar residence have also been withdrawn.

The minister is currently on a Europe visit in connection with an investment summit.
