Two marriage palaces, Mall of former minister Sundar Sham Arora seized

Mohali News: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau seized two marriage palaces and a big mall on the Hoshiarpur-Jalandhar road in a corruption case against former Punjab minister Sunder Sham Arora.

There are showrooms of many big brands in this mall. At the same time, the vigilance team also measured the house of former minister Arora in Hoshiarpur.
Two different technical teams of the department led by Vigilance DSP Ajay Kumar also evaluated Arora’s two marriage palaces and malls. He said the vigilance had also inspected Arora’s house in February. The vigilance is probing the assets of Arora created during his tenure as an MLA and minister.
The former minister was accused of causing damage to the state exchequer by wrongly transferring industrial plots. He was recently granted interim bail in the Gulmohar township land transfer scam. Arora was earlier with the Congress but joined the BJP last year.
