Drunk Punjabi truck driver hits car in US, two youth killed

Washington: Two 14-year-old youth were killed on the spot and two others were injured when an alleged drunk pick-up truck driver of Indian origin rammed into their car in Long Island here, police said. 

    The accused has been identified as 34-year-old Amandeep Singh. 
The deceased have been identified as Drew Hesenben and Ethan Falkovitz, while the other two car riders, aged 16 and 17, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. 
Amandeep Singh, a resident of Roslin, fled from the spot after the collision, police said. He was arrested the same day by the police and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. He was produced before the district court. His next appearance is scheduled for May 8.
