Dallas: At least six people were killed and dozens injured in three separate shooting incidents in Dallas over the Halloween weekend, prompting police to investigate whether the attacks were connected.
Police chief Daniel Comeaux said authorities were working to establish whether the three incidents were linked. The motives behind the shootings were not immediately known.
Comeaux said several arrests had been made but did not disclose the number of people detained or the charges filed against them.
The shootings were among several violent incidents reported across the United States over the Halloween weekend, leaving multiple people dead and dozens injured.
In a separate incident in Alabama, gunfire erupted during a football match between two universities. Police detained one person for questioning as part of the investigation.
