CRPF officer posted in Union minister Som Parkash’s security staff commits suicide
Punjab E News: A CRPF officer committed suicide in urban estate here. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Surya (33), a resident of Rohtak, Haryana. The jawan was posted in the security staff of a Union minister and was living with his colleagues in the Urban Estate area here.
SHO City Palwinder Singh said that the jawan hanged himself from an iron ladder last night and the police received information at around 3 pm.
He said that the deceased is said to be upset for some reason. The police have taken action under Section 174 of the CrPC and handed over the body to the family members.
