Chandigarh: During the press conference after the assembly session, Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that if the central government does not release the RDF money by July 1, then we will approach the Supreme Court.
At the same time, Minister Meet Hayer said that the people of Punjab are not begging from the Center but are demanding their rights. Rs 3,622 crore of our RDF funds are stuck with the Centre.
“We hope that the central government will consider the resolution passed in the Assembly regarding RDF funds,” he said.
