Alleged sexual harassment case: Keshav Kumar takes U-turn in Kataruchak case

Punjab E News: The complaint, Keshav Kumar, who had levelled allegations of sexual harassment against Punjab cabinet minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, has now taken a U-turn.
He has backtracked from his first complaint with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Punjab Police and refused to take any action against cabinet minister Kataruchak.
The controversy that erupted in political circles ahead of the Jalandhar by-election may now be put to rest.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DIG (Border Zone) Narendra Bhargava today sent an action taken report to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) in a sexual harassment case against cabinet minister Lal Chand Kataruchak.
Sources have revealed that complainant Keshav Kumar does not want to take any action in the sexual harassment case now. The National Commission for Scheduled Castes had issued a third notice to the Punjab government on June 6, seeking a report by June 12.
